Identifying suitable candidates for the scholarship is one of the most important aspects and also the most time intensive. It really helped to sit with the Principal, Sailaja Sridhar of Vijaya college to identify the potential candidates. Five students in different degree courses like B.Sc, BBA were selected for scholarships. All five are extremely meritorious but, have financial constraints. Engaging with them was a fruitful experience.
H&L hopes that the scholarship funds relive the girls a little of their financial burden. This will help focus on their studies and finish their degrees with outstanding results.
