No girl child left behind
Education for girls - H&L scholarship program
The socioeconomic crisis brought about by the Covid19 pandemic have disproportionately hit underprivileged children in India. This has led to increase in child labour and school drop outs. According to the UDISE+ report of 2019-20, nearly 30% students in the country do not transition from the secondary to the senior secondary level. Especially, the dropout rate is more in case of girls. The impact of the pandemic had made this percentage even higher.
Our mission is to engage with the community, tackle the issue and work to provide quality education to as many underprivileged, but deserving girls as possible. We have the potential to make a real and positive change in the community with this initiative.
Spread the Joy

Our 'spread the joy' program is a key area of focus here at 'Hope and Light'. We understand that children who are exposed to adversities in life are at a higher risk of not being well-adjusted later in life.
We are dedicated to improve children's mental health and well-being by providing assistance in any way suitable under the circumstances. Building life skills / Training on coping strategies / Volunteering our time / Organising events to empower the community to tackle the issue. We are here to help.
Improve outcomes for life - Tech for All
Empowering women and children
Our efforts pertaining to this initiative involves using technology to developing innovative ways to improve the outcomes for women as well as children. We are working on ways to economically empower women so that they are better able to take decisions for themselves and their families.
For children, we partner with government schools and orphanages to improve learning outcomes with the help of technology. In addition, the different campaigns envisioned under this initiative are ::
